Winter Solstice has been celebrated as a sacred night across many cultures.
The longest night of the year, symbolically reminding us to let go what no longer serves us, entering into a new chapter of our lives.
A wise friend once told me that there is immense love in the dark. Sure the light feels better, but we all expereince tragedies, heartache or times we lose our way. No one is immune.
But the dark teaches us how to find our Spirit, to find our medicine to find our voice and gifts.
In the dark, The Universe leans in even closer, to hold us lovingly, as we grow.
Yeah, we hear “Love & Light, or Good Vibes Only” all the time but this leaves little room for real life issues and how traumatic or rough this journey can be.
This also leaves much room for spiritual bypassing or ignoring that we are in this human existence and life can be hard and brutal!
But what if in that dark heaviness, there was just as much love? Immense gentleness, playfulness and room for the light to break through and guide us to new levels of embracing who we truly are inside?
Healing our wounding, reviving our hope & energizing our Spirit to keep on the journey , to discover the lighter and brighter energies in this world too?
Embracing the whole spectrum of this human experience.
